Clients and lash techs love to use glitter to curate creative lash sets. Glitter lashes are colourful and sparkly lash extensions which can be used in Classics, Hybrid and Russian lash sets to add a unique hint of sparkle and colour.
Glitter lash extensions have become increasingly popular and are great for a variety of occasions. They make a great addition to your lash sets for festivals, parties, events and holidays such as Halloween, Christmas and New Years Eve but can also be great for an everyday look to compliment your eye colour!
Here at Pinkfishes our cosmetic grade lash glitter pots are available in 6 different colours; gold, silver, black, brown, blue and pink. These pots can all be brought separately or in a multipack. These pots contain loose glitter which can then be added to lash extensions to turn them into glitter lashes. We also offer limited edition glitter lashes from time to time! Make sure to keep an eye out for our pre-made glitter spikes, Christmas lash tray which contain pre-made glitter lashes.
Pinkfishes offer lash glitter pots which you can use to create your own glitter lashes. Glitter pots are a great cost effective way to add a unique hint or sparkle and colour to your lash sets. The glitter comes loose in the pot. First pick up your pre-made or handmade lash spike/fan with your tweezers and flip it upside down (so the base of is at the top). Then dip your spike/fan into a clear lash adhesive (we would recommend either Pink Naked Clear or Pink Supreme Clear). After this dip the tip of the spike/fan into the glitter of your choice, you can dip part or the whole lash but it can be good to leave the base clean so you can grip the extensions when applying. Lift the extension out of the glitter and gently tap off any excess. Wait a few seconds for the lash adhesive to cure (you can also very gently pinch the top of the spike/fan to secure the glitter once the glue has dried). Finally place the spike/fan either back onto your lash strip or into an empty box for easy access during your treatments or directly onto the natural lash as you would a normal extension. (We recommend pre-making your glitter lashes prior to a treatment to save time.)
As mentioned previously we suggest using a clear adhesive when using glitter lash extensions in order for the glitter and colour to shine through. Pinkfishes Pink Naked Clear and Pink Supreme Clear are both clear glues which go well when using glitter lashes. Many lash techs also like to use coloured lashes when using glitter to create different styles and even make their lash sets more creative. Want to know other to style glitter lashes?
