My (Tina) passion for beauty began in childhood, spending hours with my mother, Anne, applying makeup to my 80’s mannequin head. Although I initially worked in an accounts office and balanced life as a mum to three boys, my dream of owning a beauty salon persisted. Determined to fulfil that dream, my mother and I enrolled in beauty college and, two years later, opened a salon in Essex. For over a decade we built strong relationships with our clients, who became like family. Annie joined us as a beauty therapist and quickly rose to salon manager, bringing her passion and experience in skincare to our team. With Annie's guidance, we expanded our eyelash offerings, introducing new lash styles, including Russian volume lashes, which became an instant hit. We experimented with various brands, always searching for the fluffiest, high-quality lashes, though we often felt existing products didn’t fully capture the transformative power of eyelashes. After selling the salon and following Annie’s travels with a major airline, we rejoined forces to launch Pinkfishes. This new venture was made possible with the support of our incredible family and friends, and we are excited to continue our journey in the beauty industry, helping clients achieve their dream looks.
