Micropore is medical grade tape that is a multi-purpose, hypoallergenic paper tape that is gentle to skin, yet adheres well and leaves minimal adhesive residue upon removal. These properties make it ideal to use for isolating the bottom lashes prior to lash extension application.
Cut a strip of micropore tape to the size you need. The tape can be easily trimmed to fit different eye shapes or specific areas. Carefully place the tape just beneath the lower lash waterline to secure the bottom lashes and prevent them from sticking to the upper lashes during lash extensions application. Make sure the tape doesn't touch the waterline to avoid discomfort.
Before beginning lash application, always check with your client to ensure the tape feels comfortable and isn’t pulling on the skin or lashes.
Micropore Tape should not touch the clients eyeball as this can cause irritation and bruising. Make sure to check tape placement during treatment to ensure the tape hasn't moved.
