No extensions are applied to the lashes to create a lash lift, and are the perfect enhancement for clients looking for a more natural yet effective look. The process involves softening the hairs before setting them in the new desired shape, then nourishing the hair to maintain its health. Lash Lifts are commonly accompanied by tint to further define and enhance the natural lash, and can be completed the traditional way using TGA or Cysteamine solutions, or using only Cysteamine solutions during Korean-Inspired methods.
Lash Lifts are time-efficient, the perfect treatment for busy lash technicians and busy clients! The total treatment time for a standard lash lift is between 30-40 minutes, with Korean methods taking slightly longer (processing time dependant). Both allowing for lash transformations in a significantly quicker time than eyelash extension treatments. The exact treatment time will vary depending on the natural lashes - processing times vary depending on the health and thickness of the lashes, alongside any barriers (balm, powder etc.) or accelerators (clingfilm) used. It is important to follow the suggested timings for each individual product/solution, and to perform lash checks to avoid over-processing the lashes.
