How is NOVALIFT different to standard systems?
Unlike traditional systems that require separate lifting and neutralising solutions, NOVALIFT combines the lifting and neutralisation process into a single step. After processing, simply remove the solution and the lift/lamination will be complete. You can then choose to finish with your selected tint, balm or treatment product.

How much time can NOVALIFT save me?

As the usual first and second step is combined, NOVALIFT can help reduce your treatment times by up to 50%* when compared to traditional multi-step Cysteamine systems. Meaning you could complete your treatment in less than 20 minutes*, depending on the natural lash health!

*Depending on if you are tinting the hairs or not.

Is NOVALIFT suitable for lash lifts and brow laminations?
Yes. NOVALIFT has been formulated for:

Do I still need to use a tint?

No. Tinting is optional. However, many technicians choose to tint immediately after the treatment to enhance the final result.

Can I use NOVALIFT with Pink pH?

Yes. Pink pH can be applied after the treatment as part of your finishing routine if desired. Pink pH will quickly help to return the pH of the hair back to its natural level, making it much healthier for the hairs - however this is completely optional.

Can I perform a Korean-inspired lash lift with NOVALIFT?

Yes. NOVALIFT is suitable for Korean-inspired lash lift techniques and works well with flat shields and glueless methods.

Does NOVALIFT contain Thioglycolic Acid (TGA)?

No. NOVALIFT is a Cysteamine-based system and does not rely on, or contain Thioglycolic Acid (TGA).

Is NOVALIFT suitable for damaged lashes?

NOVALIFT should only be used on healthy lashes and brows. If the hair is excessively damaged, over-processed or compromised, treatment should be postponed until the hair condition improves.

How long do results last?

Results typically last 6-8 weeks, depending on the client's natural hair growth cycle and aftercare routine.

What is the aftercare for this treatment?

This system follows the same aftercare advice as standard/Korean lash lifts, and brow laminations using Cysteamine. We highly recommend using a hydrating step at the end of the treatment. Lash lifts and brow laminations can be quite drying and harsh treatments to the hairs, so it's always best to finish the treatment with a hydrating product, for better lash health.

Is a patch test required?

Yes, you must patch test this product at least 48 hours prior to the treatment.

Can NOVALIFT be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

While Cysteamine is considered gentle, we do not recommend
this treatment for pregnant or breastfeeding clients. Due to the change in hormones at this time, they can be a lot more susceptible to reactions at any stage which makes this treatment unsafe. Especially as pregnant people cannot take certain medications if a reaction occurs. Although this hasn’t been proven, there is just not enough research into the topic and so it is just better to be safe and avoid performing a lash lift on pregnant or breastfeeding clients.

Can I use NOVALIFT with my existing shields and tools?

Yes. NOVALIFT is compatible with most lash lift shields, rods and professional application tools.

Can NOVALIFT be combined with Pink Lift Powder, Glue Balm or Bonding Serum?

Yes.

Combine Pink Lift Powder with NOVALIFT to complete a 1-step Korean or glueless lash lift. The amount to add is entirely up to your preference. If you need a thicker paste to help the lashes adhere better to the shield, add more powder. Note: For a thinner consistency, add 1 minute to the processing time. For a thicker paste, add 2 minutes to the processing time.

Use Bonding Serum or a glue balm in the same way you would for a standard lash lift, increasing the timings in the same way as necessary depending on the product you are using.

How many uses can I get out of NovaLift Tubes?

Get approximately 6 uses from our 5ml Tube, and approximately 24 uses from our 20ml Tube. The actual amount depends on the volume of product used per treatment.
