Flat lashes are designed with a rhomboid shaped base that helps them bond more effectively to the natural lash, meaning they can have a longer retention than traditional eyelash extensions.
Flat lashes are simply an alternative to Classic lashes when creating classic sets! Flat lashes have an oval/rhomboid base, whereas classic lash extensions have a round base. The shape of Flat lash extensions mean they can wrap around the natural lash easily. They also are designed with a different weight distribution which means Flat lashes feel much lighter than classic lashes, so you can apply thicker and longer lashes without damaging or weighing down the natural eyelash. We’re seeing more clients ask for Flat lash extensions as they love the look! A popular misconception is that Flat lashes are not curly which is incorrect, Pinkfishes Flat lashes are available in both C & D curl. The Flat shape is also easier to pick up and has a wider surface area at the base which can help to make application more efficient, saving you time on your sets. However, Flat lashes can only be applied to the top or bottom of the natural lash, unlike classics which can also be applied to the side of the lashes.
Their rhomboid base allows them to wrap around the natural lashes easily creating a more secure bond, meaning Flat lashes can last longer and have better retention. As they wrap around the natural lash it also creates a seamless blend making them look more like your own lashes rather than obvious extensions. The lighter weight distribution of Flat lashes makes them perfect for creating thicker, more voluminous and longer sets in comparison to standard Classic/Individual lashes, without causing damage to your clients' natural lashes.
At Pinkfishes, our range of Flat Lashes allows for a variation of sets to be created with our option of different thicknesses, lengths and curls. Our Flat Lashes are now also available in Dark Brown! The lashes come in both 0.15 and 0.20mm thicknesses in both black and dark brown. In black, the trays come in 8-15mm individual lengths, as well as in mixed boxes. Each tray comes with 16 rows of lashes, and are available in C, CC and D curls.
Our brown Flat lashes are available in mixed trays, with two strips of each length ranging from 8-15mm. Also available in 0.15 and 0.20, our dark brown lashes come in both C and D curls.
Flat lashes are applied just as a normal classic lash, with 1:1 application. However, unlike standard classic lashes, Flat lashes can only be applied to the top or bottom of the natural lash, and not to the side.
