What is the difference between Lagoon and Shell Soft Wax?
Both waxes have a gelee formula, allowing for thin and smooth application. The main difference between the Lagoon and Shell Soft Wax is their colour and aesthetic appearance. With Lagoon featuring a turquoise iridescent finish and Shell featuring a pink iridescent finish.
What areas can Lagoon and Shell Soft Wax be used on?
Both waxes are suitable for larger body areas such as the legs, arms, back, and chest, as well as facial areas including the eyebrows and upper lip.
Do I need waxing strips with this wax?
Yes. Lagoon and Shell are soft waxes (also known as strip waxes), meaning they must be removed using waxing strips.
Is this wax suitable for sensitive skin?
The flexible formula is designed for smooth application and effective hair removal. As with any waxing product, we recommend carrying out a small sensitivity test before use, particularly on clients with sensitive skin.
What temperature should I heat the wax to?
Heat the wax according to your wax heater manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a smooth, honey-like consistency. Always test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before applying to the skin.
Can this wax remove short hairs?
For best results, hair should be approximately 4-6mm long (approx. 4-6 weeks growth). The wax is designed to grip hair effectively while maintaining a smooth, flexible application.
