Pink pH

Description
Pink pH is a natural lash pH balancer and can be used for lash extension and lash lift treatments.

Lash Extensions: Using Pink pH before lash extensions can help neutralise and balance the lash surface, helping eyelash extension adhesive cure more effectively and aid retention. It can also help remove any leftover oils, dirt or makeup. If the lash pH isn’t balanced correctly before application, you may notice; poor retention or early shedding, extensions twisting or popping off throughout the set, adhesive shock curing (curing too quickly leaving a white residue) and/or inconsistent results from client to client. Even perfect technique can have bad retention if the pH is off.

Lash Lifts: Using Pink pH in-between steps 1 & 2 of a lash lift helps to neutralise the lashes allowing step 2 to work more efficiently whilst also minimising over-processing, brittleness, or dryness. It can also help reduce the risk of uneven lift results. During a lash lift the solutions especially step 1 are alkaline therefore Using Pink pH in-between steps 1 & 2 of a lash lift helps to stop the chemical process as even after removing lifting solutions the chemical reaction can continue slightly. A pH balancer neutralizes any remaining alkalinity, helping to prevent over-processing. This also helps protect the lash health as when lashes remain too alkaline for too long they can become brittle and dry.

10ml Dropper Bottle.
How to Use
To use Pink pH for lash extensions we recommend applying the solution after cleansing the lashes, but prior to the treatment. Use the pipette to drop liquid onto two microfibre sticks and then sandwich the natural lashes in-between the two sticks and swipe up the natural lashes to coat the natural lashes in the pH balancer. Repeat the same process on both eyes.

To use Pink pH for lash lifts, we recommend applying the Pink pH to a lip brush and wipe this over the lashes on the shield in-between step 1 and 2.

FAQ

What is a pH balancer and why is it important for lash extensions?

Pink pH is crucial for achieving optimal lash retention. It ensures that the pH level of the lash is balanced to work perfectly with your adhesive, preventing adhesive bonds from becoming weak due to high acidity.

How do pH balancers affect the performance of lash adhesive?

A balanced pH level encourages the cuticles to open, allowing the lash adhesive to bond well to the hair’s surface layer. If the lashes are too acidic or too alkaline, it can lead to poor retention and a weak bond between the natural lash and adhesive.

What are the benefits of using pH balancer for lash extensions?

Using pH balancer can vastly improve lash extension retention due to creating the optimum conditions for your lash adhesive. It can also prevent damage and dehydration of the lashes.

What are the benefits of pH balancer for lash lift procedures?

pH balancer helps restore the natural pH balance of the lashes after step 1, preventing damage, over-processing, breakage, and dehydration. It works perfectly between step 1 & 2 of a lash lift treatment to remove any step 1 residue before applying step 2.

How does pH balance impact adhesive performance?

pH balancers can encourage more consistent adhesion, curing times and retention results. It ensures that the adhesive bonds are strong and reliable for every client.

Do I need to patch test Pink pH?

We recommend that all liquids should be patch tested on your
client at least 24-48 hours before a treatment goes ahead. However, this is not a necessity and so this may not be required by your insurance provider. Always check patch testing requirements with your insurance provider to be certain.
